Gallium-67 is a radioisotope used in positron emission tomography (PET). It has a half-life of 78hours. It is mainly used for the imaging and localization of inflammatory lesions (infections)

Nirta® Solid target 30 MeV is used for irradiation of enriched 68Zn.
IBA provides only the irradiation station equipment.
Dissolution & Purification
The irradiated target material is then dissolved and purified to isolate 67Ga in Ga-chloride or citrate. Enriched Zinc can be reused for further plating.
